South Countryside Tour

Pick-up from your accommodations and proceed to the southern part of Cebu. Upon arrival in Carcar (known as the Heritage City of Cebu), meet your local guide for an introduction to the city. Hop on a wooden cart being pulled by a carabao, feel the burning sensation of the coconut wine down your throat, unleash your creativity as you weave your own basket and take a tricycle to bring you back to the waiting vehicle parked at a distance. Proceed to St. Catherine of Alexandria Church with its architecture Spanish colonial structures and a drive thru the popular stone houses. Grumbling stomach? Not a problem as Carcar is bursting with flavors: ampao (sugared puff grains), bucarillo (caramelized coconut strips), chicharron (pork rind crackling) and the lechon (roasted pig). Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Then back to the hotel.
