Terms of Service

Last updated: 22 March 2026

1. About Us

Bobby ("the Service") is operated by Digital Platforms Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17087275), with its registered office at 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NE. References to "we", "us", or "our" refer to Digital Platforms Ltd.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Bobby at searchbobby.com, our Telegram bot (@searchbobbybot), our MCP API, or any other channel through which we provide the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

3. Description of Service

Bobby is an AI-powered search engine that helps users discover products, experiences, tours, activities, tickets, and other listings from third-party retailers and providers. Bobby does not sell products or experiences directly. All purchases and bookings are made through the respective retailer or provider's website.

The Service includes:

  • Web-based AI chat at searchbobby.com
  • Telegram bot (@searchbobbybot)
  • MCP (Model Context Protocol) API for third-party AI integrations
  • Product and experience search API

4. User Accounts

You may create an account to access additional features such as wishlists, personalised preferences, conversation history, and price alerts. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

5. Affiliate Links and Commercial Relationships

Bobby earns revenue through affiliate commissions. When you click through to a retailer or provider and make a purchase or booking, we may earn a commission from the retailer's affiliate programme. This does not affect the price you pay.

Product and experience links contain affiliate tracking parameters from networks including Awin, Impact, and Viator. By using the Service, you acknowledge that links are commercially tracked.

6. Product and Experience Information

All product listings, prices, availability, descriptions, images, and experience details are provided by third-party retailers and providers. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information displayed. Prices and availability may change between the time you view a listing and the time you visit the retailer's website.

Bobby's AI may summarise or present information about products and experiences. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated descriptions may occasionally contain errors. Always verify details on the retailer or provider's website before purchasing or booking.

7. Product Data Indexing

Bobby indexes publicly available product catalogue data from online retailers using automated crawlers. This data includes product titles, descriptions, prices, images, availability, and other attributes that retailers make publicly accessible on their websites.

Our crawlers respect robots.txt directives and standard web exclusion protocols. We do not access password-protected areas, customer data, or any information that is not publicly available.

All product links on Bobby direct users to the original retailer's website, driving traffic and potential sales to the store. Bobby acts as a search engine and referral service, not a competing marketplace.

If you are a retailer and wish to have your products removed from Bobby's index, please contact us at [email protected]. We will process removal requests within 7 business days. You may also prevent future indexing by adding appropriate directives to your website's robots.txt file.

8. API and MCP Access

We provide API access to the Service via API keys. API keys are personal to the account holder and must not be shared, published, or embedded in client-side code. We reserve the right to revoke API keys that are misused or that exceed published rate limits.

Rate limits and usage terms for the API are published in our API documentation. Excessive or abusive usage may result in temporary or permanent suspension of access.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download data from the Service beyond published API access
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, authentication, or security measures
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Resell or redistribute data obtained from the Service without our written consent

10. Intellectual Property

The Bobby name, logo, website design, and underlying technology are the property of Digital Platforms Ltd. Product data, images, and descriptions remain the property of their respective retailers and providers.

You may not use the Bobby name, logo, or branding without our prior written consent.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Digital Platforms Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Service
  • Any transactions or interactions with third-party retailers or providers
  • Inaccurate product or experience information
  • Unauthorised access to your account

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.

12. Third-Party Websites

The Service contains links to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party website. Your use of third-party websites is at your own risk and subject to their own terms and conditions.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law
