Nagarkot to Dhulikhel Day Hiking from Kathmandu

Two of the most popular places in the Kathmandu Valley are Dhulikhel and Nagarkot. Dhulikhel features great mountain views as well as interesting temples while Nagarkot is the most popular place to see vistas of the Himalayas. Now you can make the popular trek between the two places. The journey starts with a magnificent sunrise over the Himalayas from Nagarkot, which is famous for viewing. From here, it is about a 16 km downhill journey to Dhulikhel with its beautiful temples. All along the way are great views of the Himalayas. Total hiking time is around 5 – 6 hours.
