Walk to the cascade and marabout of Sidi Mbark & for a tea to Kaouki

This half-day excursion takes us to Sidi Mbark, a small Berber village 35 km south of Essaouira. We walk trough dunes and on a lonesome beautiful beach till we reach a little cascade (which is in summer times dry, due to the drought Morocco is facing) and visit the old Marabout close by (residence for the spirit of a Saint or wise man). Here, the convergence of a large sand dune, a small river, and an imposing rock splendidly frames a lovely bay. We are invited to a local family for a traditional Berber tea ceremony at the end of the walk. There is the option to have a donkey with a guide on the walk (supplement), which is fun for kids to ride.
