Norheimsund Winter Fjord Floating on the Hardangerfjord

After a short safety briefing, your guide helps you into a warm insulated immersion suit with hood, gloves, and boots. Then you step straight into the calm fjord from the shoreline and float safely and comfortably on the water. This is not an extreme activity and no swimming skills are required. The suit keeps you warm, dry, and naturally afloat, so you can simply relax and enjoy the peaceful winter scenery. Most guests spend around 25–45 minutes in the fjord, with the guide close by throughout. After the experience, warm drinks and light refreshments are served by the water.
