The laying of the tracks underground has not only relieved the city of traffic. The art city of Düsseldorf is opening up a new terrain with the underground. In cooperation with the city, architects and engineers, the former students of the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf have succeeded in embedding art in the daily lives of more than 50,000 passengers – with completely different ideas.
