Private Taxi Tour (4+): Smelt Fishing & Craft Gin Experience

Experience two classic highlights of Hokkaido: winter smelt fishing and craft gin making at a distillery. Smelt fishing takes place inside a tent, so you can enjoy the activity without worrying about the cold. The smelt you catch will be cooked and enjoyed as freshly made tempura on the spot. For lunch, we will take you to a restaurant serving Hokkaido’s famous Jingisukan BBQ (lunch is paid individually). After lunch, enjoy a craft gin–making experience at a distillery, using botanicals grown in Hokkaido. Highlights: ・Smelt fishing is fully supported by a guide, so you can enjoy the experience hands-free. ・Lunch is at the popular “Naganuma Jingisukan”, a favorite among Sapporo locals. ・At the distillery, you can also enjoy wine tastings and purchase products.
