Arboretum Trsteno is the oldest Renaissance garden in Dalmatia. Located on the property of a noble family from Dubrovnik`s Republic, it represents a peaceful natural oasis where you will see interesting plants and herbs. The palm trees, eucalyptus, different types of exotic trees, and more than 300 other plants are preserved to this day. But the most beautiful part of the Arboretum is a baroque fountain with nymphs from the 18th century named after the god of the sea, Neptun. The interesting thing is also that the part of the HBO serial Games of Thrones was filmed here.
