Temari sushi is a type of sushi that is made in the shape of small, colorful balls, resembling the traditional Japanese "temari" (hand-stitched balls). Rice is shaped into a round ball, and then a slice of fish or other toppings, such as shrimp, egg, or vegetables, is delicately placed on top. The result is a beautiful, bite-sized sushi.
