Vienna Wine & Vineyard Walk 2,5h : Above the Rooftops (DE/EN)

Few European capitals combine city, landscape and wine culture as closely as Vienna. This walk leads through the vineyards above Grinzing and shows the city from a new perspective. From the slopes of the Vienna Woods, a wide view opens up over Vienna, from the historic center to the Danube and beyond. Along the way, it explains how Vienna developed between the river, basin and hills and why this location shaped its history. At the same time, the Viennese wine culture is classified, as is its role in everyday life : walks in the Viennese Forest and visits to Buschenschanken are still an integral part of leisure culture. The tour includes a short stay at a Buschenschank and ends in Nussdorf with recommendations for the rest of the evening.
