Hiking Adventure to Mt. Kawanori, into Tokyo’s Wilderness

Mt. Kawanori is one of the most popular peaks in Okutama region, with well-maintained trails, lush gorges, broadleaf forests, and carefully planted Satoyama hillsides. It offers a strenuous hiking experience for full-one-day from Tokyo city center. On the way to the peak, we will go through Kawanori Gorge and Hyakuhiro Fall as one of the biggest waterfalls in Tokyo. We recommend wearing sporty or comfortable outdoor clothing.
