Experience Reindeer Farm and Ranua Wildlife Park in Rovaniemi

Reindeer is probably the most iconic animal of Lapland, it has played a significant part in local traditional lifestyle. The herders have been living in this area for approximately four centuries and will be delighted to welcome you for a visit of their farm. Then, you have the unique opportunity to visit the wildlife park of Ranua. The park is Lapland’s leading tourist attraction for families, groups with children and animal-lovers all year round. The park is also part of different European programs for the protection of endangered species and takes care of the well-being of the animals. Accompanied by your guide, you will wander along the 2.5km gentle path through the peaceful forests that takes you from one animal habitat to another. Your guide will provide you with information about each animal and help you take some pictures if you would like to.
