Hiking Tour on the Pico de Orizaba Volcano

The Pico de Orizaba volcano is the highest in Mexico. It houses one of the last glaciers in Mexico and hides beautiful natural treasures. We have designed this hiking route so you can enjoy the incredible views of the Pico de Orizaba volcano. Our local guide will explain the flora and fauna of the place. We will visit 2 beautiful waterfalls created by the melting of one of the few glaciers that exist in Mexico, the Jamapa glacier, on the north face of the Pico de Orizaba volcano. After the waterfalls, we will continue climbing, and you will see how nature changes. In the mountains and volcanoes, trees, flowers, animals and all of nature in general adapt to the altitude. As you go up you will see this change, until you reach the point where the trees stop growing and the sandbanks begin. In this area, you will have unique views of the top of Pico de Orizaba and its glacier, the incredible views will leave you breathless. Book with us! This tour is NOT to the top of the volcano.
