Here's how it is created: the castillos from Finca San Jose are dry-tumbled in amaretto barrels for 30 days to soak up all the aromas before being dried after mechanical de-pulping. 

That's how a sensory illusion of tiramisu is created when profiled to highlight notes of chocolate, nuts and baked goods (biscuits), since tiramisu is made of ladyfingers dipped in coffee, layered with a whipped mixture of eggs, sugar and mascarpone, and finally flavoured with cocoa; a common variant also involves using alcohol, such as Marsala wine, amaretto or a coffee-based liqueur.
