Etna 4WD Experience from Taormina

After a drive to Piano Provenzana, the Northern tourist station on Mount Etna, you will embark on a 4-wheels-drive bus to the highest point currently accessible to tours: the volcanological observatory at Pizzi Deneri, at a height of about 3000 Mts. You will be guided in this experience by an expert and certified volcanological guide, who will show you the characteristics of the activity of the highest active volcano in Europe while explaining the most powerful eruptions ever experienced here. After reaching the volcanological observatory, you will start a short walk to reach a panoramic point on the famous Bove Valley, always with a view of the summit craters in front of you.
