Countless manekineko statues have been left here by people who want to show appreciation to the gods for making their wishes come true, creating a popular photo site. The Shimotakaido Ekimae Ichiba fish market is right across from the station’s north exit and has a few shops selling fresh fish and sashimi. You ca eat fresh and authemtic sashimi for lunch!
