We were born, raised and always lived in Porto, so we know the city as a local and, since it is a private tour, we will customize it according to your interests. In this private food/wine tour we will focus on Portuguese gastronomy, but you will learn a lot about our culture, history and traditions, which makes us unique. You will visit the Bolhão market and several food spots and tascas (traditional stores), while getting in contact with the locals. Meanwhile, discover the stories behind our main dishes: the legend of the "tripeiros", name given to the Porto inhabitants; you will learn how "francesinha" is made, that "caloric bomb" that you should not miss and the tasty codfish recipes, so important in our culture.
