Description

We'll start our private tour by picking you up from your hotel and heading to the largest salt mine in Romania — Slănic Prahova — just about an hour and a half drive from Bucharest. Inside the impressive underground galleries carved in salt, you can enjoy various activities such as pedal karting, ping pong, billiards, mini-golf, planetarium and more. After exploring the salt mine, we’ll continue with a scenic 40-minute drive to a charming restaurant in a local wine-producing region. Here, you’ll enjoy a traditional Romanian lunch and have the opportunity to taste regional wines. The final stop of the day is Snagov Monastery, located on an island, where Vlad the Impaler — often associated with the Dracula legend — is believed to be buried. You'll learn about the fascinating history of Romania’s most notorious 15th-century ruler. Please note: the temperature in the salt mine remains a constant 12°C (53.6°F) throughout the year, so make sure to dress warmly.
