If you’ve always wanted to climb an impressively high mountain, but couldn’t due to difficulty, this one’s for you. Viševnik is a mountain that is both over 2000 meters (6500 feet) high and easily accessible with regular hiking gear. But that doesn’t mean that the views aren’t up to par: the panorama is one of the best around, as you get to see other, higher mountains from a prime perspective. Triglav (literally meaning three-headed), Slovenia’s highest mountain, can easily be seen from the top, as can other proud peaks of the Julian Alps.
