The Melody is a relatively new breed. The potatoes are crumbly, oval-shaped and ideal for cooking. The potato can be stored for a long time without a loss of quality.

The Melody potatoes are fairly firm but somewhat floury on your plate. This makes them unsuitable for frying but suitable for baking and grilling. Many potatoes discolor during cooking. This does not apply to Melody.
