2018 Château Haut-Batailley Pauillac - Bordeaux Red G01

Classified as a Fifth Growth in the Official Classification of 1855,  Château Haut-Batailley  is a benchmark of the Pauillac appellation. Its name is derived from the word "battle," in memory of the battles that are said to have taken place on the estate at the end of the Hundred Years' War, in the 15th century.

Grape Varieties:  59% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Merlot

On the palate, it offers an opulent wine with rich tannins and superb concentration reminiscent of Merlot.

The wine's freshness highlights the distinctive character of Cabernet Sauvignon, beautifully showcased by this sublime vintage.
