Valencia to Isla Tabarca (Only Inhabited Island in C. Valenciana)

In the past the coasts of this island were a refuge for Barbary pirates, and in the 18th century, King Charles III ordered the construction of a village to house families of fishermen from Genoa who were prisoners in the city of Tabarka. Since that moment on, the island has been inhabited by Genoese people, who made possible to visit it even today.
