Canada de la Virgen Pyramids and San Miguel de Allende

The pyramids of Cañada de la Virgen are a fascinating archaeological site. Built nearly 1,500 years ago by an indigenous culture, they are believed to have served both as a ceremonial center and as a place to observe and measure time. On this tour, we will drive about 30 minutes to get there, then get on a bus that will take us close to the pyramids, followed by a walk of just over half a mile to reach the site. Once inside, we will explore the three pyramids that stand there, learning about their history and significance. Afterward, we will return to the bus. On the way back to San Miguel, we can stop at one of the local wineries to enjoy lunch before concluding our journey.
