Preguicas River Nature Tour and Adventure

The tour begins with departure to the boarding point starting at 8:20 AM, with pickup times varying based on your location. After boarding a speedboat, we’ll navigate the scenic Preguiças River for about 40 minutes until we reach the village of Vassouras. During the rainy season, the area is filled with deep lagoons ideal for swimming, but the main attraction here is the playful capuchin monkeys. Next, we head to the village of Mandacaru, where you can climb the Preguiças Lighthouse for a magnificent panoramic view of the region. You’ll also find local handicraft shops, delicious caipirinhas, and ice creams with typical regional flavors. Finally, we visit the beach of Caburé, a sandy peninsula bordered by the river on one side and the sea on the other. Lunch will be served at one of the beachside restaurants. Always follow the pilot’s guidance—return usually begins around 2:30 PM, with estimated arrival back at 3:30 PM.
