Riva De La Rosa Sauvignon Blanc DOC is produced in the Friuili DOC because it is ideal for growing Sauvignon Blanc due of the proximity of the Alps to the North and a sea breeze that blows in from the Adriatic Sea to their South. This prestigious winemaking region has a history of viticulture dating back to the Romans, known for cultivating exceptional wines. Our Sauvignon Blanc is cold fermented at a controlled temperature of 12-14°C in stainless steel tanks. The alluvial plain and sandy soils of the Friuli region influence the flavor of this grape, making it a unique and refreshing Sauvignon Blanc. It pairs well with shellfish and seafood dishes such as fish crudo, and also complements creamy dishes like vegetable risotto and pasta.
