Salon Brut 2013 Blanc de Blancs le Mesnil-sur-Oger - Champagne

The Salon House is exceptional in every way. It only produces one cuvée, only during the great years. A cuvée made from a single grape variety, Chardonnay.

A great matured champagne; complex and elegant that will keep for many more years.

This champagne comes from the one-hectare plot, "le Jardin de Salon", and nineteen other small plots of Mesnil-sur-Oger, selected by Aimé Salon at the beginning of the 20th century. The wines are kept in the cellar for an average of ten years before revealing their complexity and finesse.

Eye : A magnificent lemon yellow color, the reflections are green, in very pale tones.

Nose : The nose releases captivating aromas: Citrus fruits intermingle: yuzu, lemon, with notes of Granny Smith apple and matcha tea. 

Palate : Fresh and persistent attack on the aromas discovered on the nose. One of the most complex champagnes, the length is incredible and the finish is astonishingly digestible.
