3-Hour Private Birdwatching in the Wetlands near Brasov

Lying some 25 kilometers north of Brasov, we find the "Carpathian Delta". This is a protected area of 415 hectares of wetlands, which include habitats such as water surfaces, streams, marshes, grasslands, farmland, and peat bogs. This special place is home to more than 200 species of birds, including protected species such as Botaurus Stellaris, Eurasian Bittern, or Ardea Purpurea, Purple Heron Furthermore, this area contains Transylvania's highest number of Black Stork (Ciconia nigra), Great Egret (Ardea alba), and Greater White-fronted Goose (Anser albifrons).
