Traditional Temazcal Ceremony and Cenote Experience

Live an authentic cultural experience in Yucatan by participating in a temazcal ceremony guided by a local Xaman. For about 3 hours, you will experience a steam purification ritual generated by hot volcanic stones, traditional herbs and ceremonial chants. The activity includes connection with the four cardinal points, explanation of the use of volcanic stones known as “grandmothers” and ancestral practices of physical and mental renewal. At the end, you will have time to cool off with a dip in the cenote, accompanied by natural peels and the tasting of traditional teas from the region.
