2009 Château Giscours Kosher Margaux - Bordeaux Red P07

Château Giscours is a Third Growth wine estate situated within the Margaux appellation. The property has been owned by the Albada Jelgersma family since 1995, during which time many improvements in techniques and facilities have been made. 

Grape blend: 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc

Intense black cherry, plum, boysenberry and crushed violet scents bouquet, a little disjointed at first but it coalesces nicely with aeration.

The palate is very sweet and plush on the entry with hints of brown sugar infusing the black fruit.

A lot of structure and extract here with a grippy, assertive finish.
