Broccoli 'Aquiles' (Calabrese)

Broccoli Aquilesis a high-performing, early maturing calabrese variety that rewards you quickly with smooth, fine-domed heads in just about 65 days from transplanting. It delivers a reliable crop of dark green, tightly packed florets, and once the central head is cut, smaller side shoots follow, extending your harvest. Exceptionally space-efficient, Aquiles tolerates tighter spacing than many broccoli varieties, making it ideal even for smaller plots. This fast variety is primarily used for early sowings and summer cropping but it can also be sown in autumn and overwintered to produce high quality heads in late spring.
