Your trip starts in Tromsø, where you will meet your guide and receive information about the Aurora Borealis forecast and the night route. Arctic weather is unpredictable, but with local experience and live updates, we’ll sail to the best spots, whether along dramatic fjords, open valleys or frozen lakes, maximizing your chances of seeing the aurora. If cloud cover blocks the view in Tromsø, we will continue the search inland or even across the border into Finland. Once we find the perfect place, our guide will help you set up your cameras or mobile phone and when the Northern Lights dance in the sky, your guide will take professional photos and you will also enjoy hot drinks and traditional Norwegian snacks.
