2021 Baron de Brane Margaux - Bordeaux Red PC08

Château de Brane-Cantenac is a Margaux property  located on the Brane plateau, a unique terroir that contributes to the elegant and aromatic signature of the estate's wines.

Baron de Brane is a wine that pays homage to Baron Jacques-Maxime de Brane, who owned the vineyard in the 19th century. This second wine is made from plots located on the third terrace, with deep gravelly soils derived from clayey gravel, planted mainly with Merlot, resulting in a delicious and approachable wine.

Blend of: 65% Merlot, 30% Cab Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc, 1% Petit Verdot

Dark, deep purple color.

A very aromatic nose, with pure fruit and a fresh, but not lively, presence.

Meticulous on the attack, very flavorful in the mid-palate, elegant without being nervous.

Melts on the palate, juicy, noble, refined, and without any tannic harshness. It's long and impossible to spit out.
