Tea Tree Essential Oil

Tea Tree (M elaleuca alternifolia ) essential oil is most often used for fungal and yeast issues (athlete's foot, toenail fungus, yeast rashes). It is also antibacterial making it effective in deodorizing the air and surfaces. It has a good synergy with lavender in blends to heal the skin and is useful in a carrier to remedy rashes, poison ivy, cracked skin, and sunburn. Like all essential oils, tea tree should be diluted with a carrier oil. It is effective in lower dilution and if used incorrectly can dry and damage the skin.
