2020 Château Talbot Saint Julien - Bordeaux Red G01

A prestigious vineyard among the wines of Saint Julien
An iconic figure of the Left Bank, Château Talbot owns one of the largest vineyards in the Médoc, with no less than 110 hectares of contiguous vines planted in gravelly soils. Thanks to a predominantly stony terroir, the vines benefit from ideal drainage and excellent heat retention. The vines are on average around fifty years old, allowing Château Talbot to rank among the eleven classified growths of Saint-Julien.

Grape varieties:  66% Cab Sauvignon, 26% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot,  3% Cab Franc

Dark color, of normal intensity and purple.

Intense, pure nose, with ripe and subtle fruit.

Caressing on the attack, pleasant in the mid-palate and above all bursting with fruit, the wine glides into a meticulous, flavorful and refined finish of normal length.
