Fortes de São Sebastião Hiking Trail

Come and explore the Fortes de São Sebastião trail, on Terceira island, accompanied by a guide throughout the activity. You will have the opportunity to appreciate ruins of military forts of the XVI and XVII century along the coast, marvel at the volcanic landscapes, and experience contact with nature. You'll be surrounded by the sea as well as endemic vegetation such as the erica azorica. The trail is short, on average it will take approx. 2h30, is of moderate difficulty, and is not flat (difference of approx. 50m-70m in altitude).
