Tour to Celestun and see the flamingos

Shared service tour. Duration of tour 9 hr. We will pick you up at your hotel to start our tour and enjoy this day in Celestun. Celestun is a fishing village located west of Merida, about an hour away. It is located within the natural reserve catalogued as the Ría Celestún Biosphere Reserve, feeding ground of the pink flamingo that is found in abundance in some months of the year within the estuary that runs parallel to the sea of the Gulf of Mexico. The richness of the recovered mangroves makes this reserve a unique and special place, and you can also delight yourself with its delicious local gastronomy. At the end of the tour we will return to the city of Merida.
