1. An internationally renowned museum Opened in 1964 and located in the Chapultepec Forest, it is the largest and most visited in Mexico, with an impressive flow of visitors and a symbolic cultural presence, in 2025 it was awarded the Princess of Asturias de la Concordia Award, in recognition of its outstanding role in the conservation, research and dissemination of indigenous heritage. 2. Family and symbolic architecture Designed by architects Pedro Ramírez Vázquez, Jorge Campuzano and Rafael Mijares, the building surrounds a central courtyard with a pond, on which stands the emblematic “Umbrella”, a column with a roof that drops water in a waterfall.
