The Greeks of Smyrna in Athens

The tour explores how the Greeks of Smyrna survived in Athens , in the first half of the 20nth century,when they were forced to leave Turkey. We will visit a former carpet industry, a neighborhood with stone buildings, a museum with personal items and archives and churches with precious icons. We will taste the foods they made.
