2017 Château Lagrange Saint Julien - Bordeaux Red G01

Château Lagrange is located in Saint-Julien, its vineyards stretching across deep Garonne gravel soils over limestone subsoil.
The estate boasts one of the most sophisticated wineries in the Médoc: 46 stainless steel tanks, each with a 220-hectoliter capacity and temperature control system.

Château  Lagrange  has been owned by the Japanese Suntory Group since 1983. 30 years of work and investment by the group at the head of the Château have made it today a magnificent Saint Julien wine . 

Blend: 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot

A medium to deep garnet-purple color, the Lagrange confidently emerges from the glass with aromas of warm blackberries, black cherry compote, and blackcurrant jelly, along with hints of Indian spices, garrigue, and lilac.

Medium-bodied, the palate is elegantly played with silky tannins and an impressive intensity of crisp dark fruit, finishing with great length and depth.

With a robust tannic structure and lively acidity, it concludes with an energizing herbaceous touch.
