WHAT DOES EPIDERM CREAM CONTAIN? Each gm contains ,Betamethasone Dipropionate USP 0.643mg ,Gentamicin Sulphate BP equivalent to Gentamicin base 1mg ,Tolnaftate USP 10mg, Iodochlorhydroxyquinolin 10mg,Chlorocresol BP (Preservative) 1mg. HOW DOES EPIDERM CREAM WORK? EPIDERM cream exerts profound epidermal depot action. BecauHOWse of which, it locks itself in to the skin & is released slowly. EPIDERM is therapeutically more effective than any other topical corticosteroid. This combination suits every eczematous skin condition. Betamethasone in EPIDERM is highly active steroid ester developed for topical use. Gentamicin & Tolnaftate are broad spectrum antibiotics which exert anti-fungal action. They also act against superficial mycosis of the skin. EPIDERM cream is a drug of choice in a treatment of dermatitis & dermatosis sustained by acute inflammatory reactions. Iodochlorhydroxyquinoline in EPIDERM cream is well tolerated.
