This rare green tea cultivar, Shizu-7132, offers something unusual—an all-natural cherry blossom aroma with no added flavoring or petals. Grown in limited quantities in  Shizuoka Prefecture, Shizu-7132 is celebrated as Japan’s true sakura tea, evoking the fleeting magic of spring with every cup.

First developed in 1971 through pioneering agricultural innovation, this tea is a crossbreed of Yabukita and resilient cultivars. Its signature trait? The leaves naturally release floral compounds like linalool and benzyl acetate—the same compounds found in Japanese cherry blossoms.
