Casa Nepeta: Sensory Excursion And Bitter Tasting

At Casa Nepeta, nature tells stories of perfumes and ancient knowledge. From here you will leave for a guided trek to discover the Iblei Mountains, among quarries, dry stone walls, trazzere and holm oaks. During the walk, guided by an expert naturalistic guide, you will learn to recognize and observe the aromatic herbs that grow wild in this territory: Nepitella, Marjoram and Shrub Thyme, precious ingredients with which artisan bitters are produced. Upon returning to Casa Nepeta, you will enter the heart of our workshop: you will discover how these herbs are harvested, processed and transformed into liqueurs, following a production process that combines tradition and craftsmanship. The experience ends with a tasting of our bitters — Nepèta, Majora and Timous — accompanied by typical products of the territory, to fully savor the identity of the Iblean Mountains.
