Jatiluwih to the Sea – Cycling from UNESCO Rice Terraces to Coast

Jatiluwih that roughly translates as 'amazing beauty' is the starting point of our trip. You will be transfer by our private car to the foot of mount Batukaru (2,270m) at 950m above sea level. After a quick bike fitting and safety briefing you will start riding through what is without a doubt some of the most stunning scenery on the entire island. Amazingly crafted rice paddies, arranged in a series of terraces to follow the natural contours of the landscape, Jatiluwih was recently listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its preservation of traditional Balinese farming techniques.
