2014 Château Pontet-Canet Pauillac - Bordeaux Red G01

A Fifth Growth Classified Pauillac estate,  Château Pontet-Canet has experienced an irresistible rise, making it one of the most iconic brands in the Médoc. Managed by Justine and Alfred Tesseron, Château Pontet-Canet has established itself as a pioneer of biodynamic viticulture in the Pauillac appellation, with results exceeding all expectations. Vintage after vintage, the estate distinguishes itself as one of the finest examples of Bordeaux's Left Bank.

Grape Varieties: 65% Cab Sauvignon, 29% Merlot, 4% Cab Franc, 1% Petit Verdot 

The dress: dark

The nose:  aroma of ripe black and red fruits, with subtle floral notes.

The palate: fresh and remarkably persistent. The finish leaves a slight bitterness along with notes of coffee.
