This tour is ideal for guests who want a later start and a shorter tour (4 hours), to be well rested the next morning. Leave the city lights behind and travel into the Arctic wilderness. During this activity, your small team of Aurora guides check the forecasts and uses local knowledge to decide on the best place to chase the Northern Lights within an hour's drive from town. On this activity, we will travel wherever looks safest and with the best chances of seeing the Northern Lights within 1 hr of Tromsø city centre. Once we arrive at the best location, we will wait for the show to begin. In the meantime, our guides will tell you stories about the North and the science behind the Aurora. We'll have you back at the city centre or Breivika terminal 4 hours after the start time.
