Vienna City Walk 2h : The Old City – Origins (DE/EN)

This walk leads to the beginnings of Vienna. The focus is not on the well-known facades, but on the structures and developments from which today's city was born. Ideal for anyone who already knows Vienna or wants to understand it more deeply. The tour follows the early strata of the city : from the first settlements to medieval Vienna to the developments that laid the foundations for the later Baroque city. Selected locations show how political power, urban structures and social changes have built up over the centuries. The walk is deliberately quiet and concentrated and guided in a small group of max. 12 people. It is aimed at guests who want to understand connections, not just individual sights. After this tour, today's downtown becomes legible : its structures, its fractures and its development. Takes place in all weather conditions and number of participants.
