Puno to Cusco via Sun Route + Rainbow Mountain & Hotel Stay

Travel from Puno to Cusco on a unique 2-day adventure combining culture, landscapes, and one of Peru’s most iconic natural wonders. On Day 1, journey along the famous Sun Route, a scenic corridor connecting Lake Titicaca and Cusco. Along the way visit the Pukara Museum, the impressive Temple of Wiracocha in Raqchi, You’ll also stop at La Raya Pass, the highest point of the route with spectacular views of the Andes. Instead of continuing directly to Cusco, spend the night in the peaceful Andean countryside at Amaru Treehouse in Cusipata. On Day 2, wake early to explore Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), one of Peru’s most spectacular landscapes located over 5,000 meters above sea level. After hiking to the colorful summit, return with a group transfer to Cusco. This itinerary combines culture, nature, and comfort while avoiding long travel days.
