Designed to offer a medium and comfortable support, the Eton waterproof contract mattress is manufactured to strict Crib 5 specifications. Crib 5 mattresses are primarily designed for use in care homes, but are widely used in family homes, thanks to their strict fire regularitystandards. The mattress interior consists of several layers of white fibre fillings and a robust spring system, made up of rows of open coil springs. Open coil springs are set out in rows running from head to toe and formed into one unit by attaching helical wires at the top and bottom. The mattress cover can be easily cleaned with antibacterial cleaning agents, reducing the risk of infections in those that are bed-bound.
