Small group hiking to Rhodes Butterfly Valley

With a comfortable transfer you can reach the valley of butterflies, the excursion lasts about 2 hours of walking. Visitors can witness a spectacular phenomenon that rarely occurs in nature: A huge number of butterflies, of a particular species called: "Panaxia Quadripunctaria", are found in this small valley during the final phase of their life cycle. Every year, at the end of the wet season (July to September) thousands of butterflies are attracted by the scent of the eastern styrax trees, covering the entire landscape.
