Coming from a unique geological formation and close to the famous hill of “Bessards” in Hermitage, this Saint-Joseph has the elegance of its Appellation and the power of its neighbor in front of the river.

This wine comes from a monopoly grouping together the contiguous flagships of the Saint-Joseph Appellations of the former Domaine Jean-Louis Grippat and Vallouit. It is the unique expression of the most impressive and exclusive hillside of the Saint-Joseph appellation.

Grape Variety: 100 % Syrah

Visual: Dark red color.
Olfactory: Complex nose dominated by black fruits and delicate aromas of new wood. The nose is powerful and intense.
Gustative: The attack on the palate is powerful. The tannins are powerful but remain fine and elegant.
